ADA Mats are an ideal detectable warning surface for sidewalks. These truncated dome mats are engineered to provide auditory and haptic feedback for the visually impaired. Each mat is placed on the ground in wet concrete near crosswalks or places where pedestrians might be close to vehicle traffic. The mats have raised domes that when encountered underfoot or by walking cane alert pedestrians to nearby oncoming traffic.
 
These ADA mats are designed to be placed during the curing of concrete on new pour projects. They are designed to be replaceable and can unscrew from their feet if they get broken or worn down from prolonged use.
