Tactile Warning Pads are the premier pedestrian safety surfacing solution. Each pad has raised domes designed to provide underfoot auditory and haptic feedback for visually impaired persons. The ADA-Compliant tactile warning pads are placed at crosswalks, near escalators, transit platforms, and other transitional areas to make known that there is traffic or an elevation changes nearby.

These warning pads are the Cast in Place style and are installed in wet set concrete. After setting the feet of the pads in concrete and allowing time to cure the Access Tile pads can then be unscrewed and replaced should any units get damaged or worn out with repeated use. The replaceable nature makes these warning pads very popular with municipalities and commercial applications since maintenance is easy and does not require an entirely new concrete pour for replacement.
